Community Updates

Summer has come to an end, and what a wonderful season it was! We had plenty of activities to enjoy together. Our Canobie Lake trip was a highlight, with nearly 60 people attending it was an amazing day.

In August, we held our annual meeting with the theme was “We Need to Be More of a Community.”
A special shout-out to Tiffany Winchell for becoming a board member! Congratulations on joining the team.

Don’t forget, there is still one seat available. If you’re interested in becoming a Resident Council board member, now is your chance to get involved and help make a difference in our community.

Our Labor Day Cookout was a big success once again! We went all out with ice cream, a dunk tank, sizzling grills, and plenty of games for everyone to enjoy.

A special thank you to the Donna DeLauri Foundation for their generous donation, which helped us provide backpacks for our students as they headed back to school.

Memorial Park Front building doors and porch doors painting – We’re finishing up the painting at Memorial Park, and it looks fantastic! Our plan is to complete Green Street before winter arrives.

Coming Soon:

  • Annual Apple Picking Trip – October 4

  • Halloween Trick-or-Treat – Stop by the community room on October 31 in your costume and pick up some candy!

  • Thanksgiving Dinner – November 20

  • Kids’ Christmas Party – December 11

These wonderful traditions will bring us to the end of another great year together!

Thank you to all residents for making our community vibrant and welcoming. Your participation, help, and enthusiasm make a real difference. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events and continuing to make this a great place to live!

Resident Spotlight:

A big thank you to all the residents of Memorial Park Ave. and Green Street for your help with the sealing and striping of the parking lots. Many of you moved your cars even parking out on the street so we would have the space needed to get the job done. The lots look fantastic! There are still a few small things that need to be fixed, and we’re working on them, but overall, the results are great because of your assistance.

Maintenance Notes 🔧

As a reminder, window air conditioners are not permitted at Quaker Meadows. If you have an air conditioner in your A/C sleeve, please check your air conditioner filter to make sure it is clean before running your A/C. A clean filter will help your air conditioner run more efficiently for longer, as dirt and grime will cause it to overwork and use more energy than necessary. Keeping your air conditioner filters clean helps the cooling process, allowing you to chill the room faster and turn the air conditioner off earlier.

Do you need your porch door storm glass changed to the screen? If so, please call the office to put in a work order. We want you to be able to enjoy the cool air this spring.
